The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that a technical delegation will head to the Qatari capital tomorrow to continue negotiations on the exchange deal, while Israeli sources explained that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu excluded Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, and the official in charge of the prisoners’ file from the recent discussions on the prisoners’ deal.

In turn, the Axios correspondent quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that the technical delegation, which includes representatives from the Mossad, the Shin Bet, and the army, will leave for Doha after holding consultations upon its return from the Egyptian capital.

The Israeli official added that the delegation is expected to continue talks with mediators with the aim of narrowing the gaps in the outstanding issues within the framework of the prisoners’ deal.

He also confirmed that the delegation will meet in Doha with representatives of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, who continue to mediate between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel.
